Meet the founder
I’m Be, the travel adoring, eco-conscious and coffee-loving content creator behind Be-lavie.
This inspiring and informative space was created back in 2017 for the experiential boutique travel and sustainable lifestyle lover.
Here you will find a catalogue of travel jaunts, in the form of curated guides from personal experiences, a penchant for eco-friendly luxury hotels, as well as a gargantuan vegetarian appetite for fine dining and responsibly sourced lifestyle experiences. These will be delivered through reviews, tips, personal recommendations, beautiful photography and a suite of resources to inspire you to craft magical memories of your own.
LEARN MORE ABOUT BE-LAVIE
Why the unusual name choice? Well, simply because friends call me ‘Be’ and because French is the most romantic language in the world. The blog encompasses Be’s life so the English alternative was ‘The life of Be’ but it sounds so much better in French, right?
If you fancy getting to know Be a bit better, read on, otherwise feel free to explore life’s musings on this little stamp of the internet!

THE ‘BE’ BEHIND BE-LAVIE: THE SHORT EDIT
Be lives in Leicester, a city in the middle of England (famously known as the city where they found the king in the car park – Richard III), with her husband Dr C. Be calls herself an experiential boutique traveller with a big focus on sustainability and sourcing ethically and responsibly.
To date she has travelled to almost 70 countries, over 6 continents and yes Antarctica is on that list to make it 7 one day in the future!
As well as global jaunts and travelling in the UK, Be is keen to support local businesses and ventures in her home city. She endeavors to showcase as much of Leicester as possible including local guides on history, hidden gems, foodie spots, street art, coffee stops and upcoming events.
In addition to travelling, Be is a huge veggie fine dining fan, which she incorporate into her travels. Be’s passion subject is talking eco-conscious lifestyle issues and more often than not, you’ll find her hanging out in coffee shops, sipping on Espresso Martini’s, scoping out street art on her daily walks or perfecting her origami skills!
Be-lavie has a huge focus on travelling but also loves to feature lifestyle products and lots of foodie inspiration here. You can always trust that Be’s opinions are honest and brands are only endorsed if she thinks they will align with you, her audience.
Be is delighted you’re here, so sit back, relax and allow her to show you a lifestyle through her lens, filled with responsible travel and lifestyle inspiration with sprinkles of luxury.
