MY NEW FAVOURITE TRAVEL ACCESSORIES

A little over a year ago now, I was prowling the net profusely to locate a wash bag and cosmetic case (that would become my go-to favourite products accessories) which when I landed on the Victoria Green website. At that time, I was spending the majority of my time in the rainforests of Costa Rica and needed something that could deal with the high humidity of the environment but at the same time be sturdy enough to hold all my favourite full size products. Yes you know what I mean ladies and gents, sometimes you just need your faves with you because they’re tried and tested and give you that little feeling of home luxuries! Little did I know when I purchased these bags would be my favourite go to travel accessory and have quite literally been trotting the globe with me on my jolly jaunts both internationally and in the UK. Additionally when at home, they accessorise my bathroom beautifully and add just the write amount of flower pattern print to its muted tones!

ATHENS: THE FIRST ADVENTURE

My city break to Athens, was no exception and this time I took along the Victoria Green three-fold hanging wash bag in blush starflower for all my toiletries and the small blush starflower cosmetic case to hold my essential make-up and more!

The three compartments in the hanging washbag are just the right dimensions to strategically split toiletries into organised sections. The top section holds cotton wool pads, buds and nail files. The middle compartment is ideal for make-up brushes, and smaller bottled products and the final section which is fab for all my larger products but the best bit is that it’s attached with Velcro so it’s totally removal. It’s great for storing all your ‘wet’ products such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body cream so you can leave it in close proximity to the bath or shower

A VISUAL & PRACTICAL DELIGHT

The Victoria Green blush starflower cosmetic case is just the right size to nicely accommodate a couple of pops of colour in the form of lipsticks and all your daily make-up essentials. The size of this case makes it ideal just to drop into your handbag. The lovely print ensured that it didn’t lost amongst the dark depths of the tardis that I call my handbag!

On arrival at our hotel in Athens, I did my usual unpack of the important items, such as fancy dinner dresses and the all-important toiletries. I was really glad to find a couple of hooks I could easily and openly display my new three-fold bag. As you can see this was such an order of priority for me that I hadn’t even taken my jacket off!

Additionally when the cosmetic case was not in my handbag, it took pride of place amongst the sleek modern interiors of the bathroom and did not look out of place at all!

GLAMING UP FOR A NIGHT ON THE TILES

Fast forward a day of sightseeing and a fine education on Greek mythology, it was time to glam up for an evening. The bathroom was being used by the other-half  and it would be way too steamy in there anyway so I rediscovered my love of  hotel beds and decided it would serve as a comfortable way to put my ‘going-out’ face on! And guess what? The bags totally behaved themselves laid on the duvet and the well organised compartments meant it was so easy to find just what I needed. I even had a toner spillage but the zip closure on the middle compartment meant it was contained and everything else remained safe and dry. No crisis as there would have been previous to discovering Victoria Green bags.

A BEAUTIFUL ACCESSORY SET

The Victoria Green blush starflower threefold hanging washbag and cosmetic case really did serve their purpose on their first global adventure! They’re totally beautiful to look at, those compartments,  waterproof seems and  edge finishes make them practical as well as helping you contain any embarrassing leaks. The removal large section of the washbag can be removed and used individually or as park of the bag. If like me you hate packing for trips, you can always leave these filled with your favourite products and just use them at home as they make lovely bathroom accessories too!

In my opinion, they’re just so damn hot, you’re seriously going to be wondering how you ever coped without this pretty, practical, affordable travel hack!

Victoria Green is a brand that I endorse because I’ve personally tried and tested it. The bags look great, they travel well and they do what they say they do! And I love them!
